Funded hours
15 and 30 hours for 3 and 4 year olds, plus Working Parent entitlement funding for eligible 2 year olds and under-2s.
Worth knowing. All parents are asked to pay the optional Additional Services and Consumables charge which is £1.50 per funded hour. 15 hours funded childcare per week term-time only, up to 570 hours per year. Can be spread out across 52 weeks of the year, using less then 15 hours per week.

What it is like to attend
Children arrive with enthusiasm and are ready to begin their day in this warm and nurturing nursery. They separate from their parents and carers with confidence.
Staff are friendly and greet children. They provide an environment that is engaging and stimulating. Leaders and staff have developed an effective key-person system.
This helps to ensure that children settle swiftly, form strong attachments and are ready to learn. Staff are good role models and support children to understand the expectations for their behaviour in the nursery. During children's play, they teach children to take turns and use sand timers to support their understanding of waiting. Staff consistently praise children's positive behaviour, such as being kind to their peers, sharing and using good manners.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- review the arrangements for supervision meetings to help all staff to receive focused and effective professional development to further strengthen their knowledge of teaching and the curriculum.

- Is £8.50 an hour still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
