Funded hours
3–4-year-old's Early Years Funding, the first 11/15 hours attended per week, up to a maximum of 570 per academic year; Working Parents Entitlement: 1140 hours fully funded.
Worth knowing. Anything over 11/15 hrs. per week or over the total allowance of 570 hours per academic year will be charged at the 3–5-year-old hourly rate. Up to 22 hours per week for 51 weeks of the year or up to 30 hours per week – term time only. Any hours taken outside of the funding hours, including term time only funding will be charged – please ensure you have given management notice of absence to receive a 50% discount on fees during holiday period. Holiday Deductions - if 4 weeks notice is given then.

What it is like to attend
Children are well cared for at this friendly setting. Babies benefit from particularly warm and nurturing relationships with staff. Staff respond quickly to their needs and give them reassuring cuddles when necessary. Children are encouraged to become more independent over time. Children of all ages happily help to tidy up the play areas as part of daily routines. Toddlers confidently make choices about their activities. They initiate a singing group activity with staff and take turns to choose nursery rhymes to sing.
Staff encourage children to be curious about the world around them. Babies confidently take part in sensory experiences. They happily practise standing and try to pop bubbles in the air. Older children delight as they find hawk moths outside.
Staff support them to make connections to their previous learning about life cycles.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- develop the planning of outdoor learning to ensure less-confident children are well supported by staff to take part in activities, especially on wet days n manage routines more readily to help the younger children's understanding of adults' expectations and ensure they know what to do next.

- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
