2 year old Local Authority Issued EYFE is available for children and families who meet different criteria. They could access up to 15 hours EYFE per week from the term after they turn 2 if they are eligible. All children, regardless of individual needs and citizenship, can access up to 15 hours of Universal EYFE per week from the term after they turn 3 years old. If the child is eligible for EYFE.
Worth knowing. All hours over and above this will be invoiced at the agreed rate per hour. If your child attends on an activity day, then an additional charge will show on your invoice to cover part of this cost.

What it is like to attend
Children arrive at pre-school with happy smiles. They eagerly come inside and place their belongings away. Children are confident and know the routine well.
They sit down on the carpet as they wait for registration to begin. Staff greet children warmly. They offer cuddles and reassurance to children who are still settling in. Relationships between staff and children appear secure and nurturing.
Staff provide clear boundaries for children to follow. For example, children learn about 'kind hands' and 'listening ears'. Older children demonstrate a good understanding of these expectations. They take turns with utensils as they pretend to make potions in the garden. Children listen to instructions. For example, they respond promptly when it is time to tidy up. Children have a clear understanding of the expectations of their behaviour.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
