Funded hours
Places funded by the government for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Children are entitled to receive 15 hours each week (in some cases 30 hours if you meet the criteria) that are funded by the government for 38 weeks of the year.
Worth knowing. We don’t charge a top up fee for any government funded sessions however we do invoice you for snacks, consumables and the extra curriculum activities we do such as sampling foods from around the world at the time. Consumable items are classed as anything used by your child such as suncream. Our charges for snack and consumables are per 3 hour session which is broken down into £1.00 for snack and 50p for consumables, therefore £1.50 per 3 hour session such as 9-12 £1.50, 12-3 £1.50 and 9-3 £3.00.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
