What it is like to attend
The provider has made good improvements to provide quality care and education for all. Staff have a clear vision for the delivery of their curriculum and a strong focus on engaging children in play. They support children to explore and develop their own ideas about how they want to extend an activity, and provide the resources for children to develop their ideas further.
Children confidently explore the environment and enjoy a variety of activities that are thoughtfully planned. Staff develop learning experiences based on children's current interests and stages of development. Staff support children and adapt their teaching to help them make good progress.
Children show positive attitudes towards their play and learning. Staff set clear expectations and model the behaviour they want from children. They are polite and courteous when they request different materials to extend their play. For example, children are gentle and caring when bathing their baby dolls. Staff listen attentively to children as they talk about washing the doll's clothes. Staff and children work together to gather all they need to wash and dry their clothes.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:

- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
