Funded hours
We accept 2, 3 and 4 year old funding (15 and 30 hours).
Worth knowing. We ask for a small voluntary contribution of £7/day, to cover items not included in the early years funding, such as additional art materials, snacks, forest school, Tapestry, visits etc. These are costed and itemised on monthly statements. Please note this is entirely voluntary. . A minimum of 2 days is recommended. We do not ask for deposits. However for funded places we require an up to date funding code, NI number and parents DoB.

What it is like to attend
Children excitedly enter the safe and vibrant pre-school. They are happy and have excellent attachments to staff, who warmly welcome them. Children settle immediately, eager to start playing. They show the highest levels of confidence and self-esteem. Staff kept in excellent contact with families during the COVID-19
pandemic. This supported children's continued learning and emotional well-being.
For example, staff encouraged families to take part in activity challenges, communicated using video, read stories and sang songs.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
