We accept 15 or 30 hours funding in all of our sessions.
Worth knowing. Food for fully funded children is not covered by funding. Our charges are: Breakfast Club : £1.00 Afternoon Club : £2.00 This is an optional extra, so please speak to us if you would prefer to provide your own food. We do not charge top-up fees or additional fees for consumables such as nappies, wipes, craft materials, or suncream. Activities or outings for which there is a fee are optional for fully funded children.

What it is like to attend
Children are happy in this nurturing environment. Staff are on hand each morning to welcome children and their families. Children enjoy self-registering. Staff place strong emphasis on ensuring that children feel emotionally secure as they separate from their parents. For example, children enjoy the nursery cuddly toys as comforters when they need them. Their individual photograph books of people who are special to them help children to make links between nursery and home.
Staff know children well and quickly form strong bonds with them and their families. They carefully plan interesting and exciting activities for children. They use their assessments to set personalised targets. They ensure that the curriculum is sequenced to build on what children know and can do, and ensure that all children make expected progress.
Staff have high expectation for how they want children to behave. They teach children the importance of being kind. For instance, children enjoy being praised as they place corks into a reward jar when they have shown acts of kindness.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- extend opportunities for children to learn about capacity and recognise numbers, to further develop their mathematics skills.

What to ask them
Some of this is above, from the setting or from parents, and it can go out of date. The rest is in no dataset anywhere. Either way it is worth ten minutes on the phone.
- Is £20.00 a session still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
