What it is like to attend
Children show great enthusiasm on arrival at nursery. They separate well from their parents and are eager to join in with the range of exciting experiences on offer. Children share very warm relationships with the staff, who actively engage with them as joyful play partners. Children develop excellent self-help and independence skills as a result of consistent and thoughtful role modelling from staff. Throughout the day, children have the opportunity to chop their own fruit, put on and take off their puddle suits and wellington boots, and pre-school children serve their own lunch.
Children's physical development and good health are extremely well supported.
They can choose to spend much of their day outside, where a range of exciting equipment provides them with extensive play experiences across all seven areas of learning. Staff plan and implement an ambitious and purposeful curriculum that celebrates children's individual characteristics. Staff are highly skilled in supporting children's learning and there is an inclusive culture embedded across the provision.
