From September 2026 our fees are £6.03 per hour for three- and four-year olds and £7.45 per hour for two-year olds, plus a daily £1.30 voluntary charge for snack.

What it is like to attend
Children flourish in this warm and welcoming pre-school. They enter happy and ready to learn. The children enjoy meaningful interactions with staff, which stimulate their learning and build on what they already know. Staff plan a wide range of activities to spark the children's curiosity and interest. For example, the children freely explore the dinosaur world. They role play as dinosaurs, acting out their daily routines and experiences. The children confidently use dinosaur names, such as stegosaurus and pterodactyl. They talk about what each dinosaur eats and where they live.
Staff provide children with a wide range of physical activities, both indoors and outdoors. They participate in various sports, such as endurance races, dance classes and games. This provides children with physical exercise, helping them to build strong muscles needed for later life. Staff support children to take risks during physical play. For example, children ascend a climbing wall. They place a foot in each hole and pull themselves up to the top. Staff remind children to hold on at the top with two hands or they might fall off. The children decide to slide down the other side. They clap and cheer before repeating the process.
The children take walks in the local community and learn about the rich heritage of the village. They learn about the Bath Stone Quarry, Brunel's Box Hill Tunnels and the rock circus. Children visit the woods where they find out about the local wildlife cycles, the ecological systems and the changing seasons. They learn about road safety and how to stay safe outdoors.

- Is £7.45 an hour still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
