What it is like to attend
Managers support staff in fostering a culture of continuous development. This encourages staff to reflect on how they can enhance their practice. Staff are enthusiastic and engage children in age-appropriate conversations. Babies enjoy listening to stories, while older children recall past experiences, such as picnics and birthday celebrations. This helps to develop children's language skills. Staff promote children's positive behaviour effectively. They teach children to use polite words, share and take turns. Children listen well and engage positively in activities.
As part of the curriculum, staff have reviewed their mealtime routines to further enhance children's independence skills. This approach works well in enabling children to make decisions about their self-care needs.
Staff provide numerous opportunities for outdoor play, which helps to develop children's physical skills. It also boosts children's confidence in their physical abilities. Even the younger children learn to balance, control their muscles and enjoy running around outside in the fresh air. The older children engage happily in imaginative play, often describing themselves as 'strong' superheroes. All of these activities take place under the close supervision of staff. Staff also teach children how to stay safe during their play. For example, they remind children to give each other space while playing group games to minimise accidents.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
