What it is like to attend
Staff use their strong, wide knowledge base to provide children with exciting learning experiences throughout the well-resourced and equipped setting. Excellent and challenging activities allow children to access all areas of learning and make superb progress in their development. Children move around all areas of the setting, taking the lead in their play experiences. Staff have effective observation, planning and assessments in place, which effectively supports children in their development.
Children build their language skills with staff who are highly engaged in their teaching, narrating as children play to introduce new words. For example, during a storytelling activity of 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', children are highly animated and enjoy using the words that sound just like the things it is describing. Together children endure swishy tall grass, deep cold river water, thick oozy mud and more.
Staff have superb arrangements to care for children and support their well-being.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To meet the requirements of the early years foundation stage, the provider must: ensure areas used by the children are suitable and comply with health and hygiene requirements; in particular, the internal drain in the children's side entrance area. (by 30/06/2024)

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.

- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
