What it is like to attend
Children thrive at this warm and welcoming nursery. They feel safe and build secure and trusting bonds with the approachable and attentive staff. The joy children feel is evident. For example, younger children greet staff with enthusiastic waves, while older children actively seek them out to include them in their play.
Leaders place children and their families at the heart of the community. They advocate strongly for the most vulnerable children. This caring approach creates a culture of kindness among children. Children show high levels of respect for each other and are often seen sharing toys and books. When children become upset, staff respond gently and reassuringly. They offer comfort and use visual aids to help children to understand and manage their emotions.
This nurturing foundation allows an ambitious curriculum to flourish. Leaders, who are excellent role models, have thoughtfully designed learning opportunities that cover all areas of development, indoors and outdoors. Staff are highly skilled in using 'in-the-moment' planning to turn children's natural interests into rich learning experiences. For instance, when children show great enthusiasm for a spider, staff follow their interests and plan an engaging and nursery-wide project on minibeasts to extend children's curiosity and knowledge.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
