What it is like to attend
Staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where children are able to thrive.
Children arrive eager to start their day. Staff provide an ambitious curriculum to help all children. All staff across the nursery have regular meetings to discuss what children need to learn next. They discuss how they can support children during activities to achieve these next steps in learning. Staff encourage parents and carers to also provide regular observations, which helps them to review any gaps in children's learning. Staff are successful in narrowing these gaps and helping children to make good progress towards their learning goals.
Staff work well with children, helping to teach them respect and positive behaviour.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to be more consistent in using the correct vocabulary when talking with children n review transitions between routine activities to enable children to have more learning experiences and less time waiting.
