What it is like to attend
Children are happy and confident as they enter this homely nursery. They independently remove their shoes to get ready for their day in this large house.
They form strong relationships with the staff, who are kind and caring towards them. Babies look to staff for reassurance and comfort, while older children chatter away about what they are learning and their own interests. Staff respond affectionately. This supports children's well-being and helps them settle into their day.
Children's behaviour is good and they follow the rules and routines effectively.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- strengthen the settling-in process to support children's transition from room to room n focus on professional development to help all staff to enhance their knowledge of child development further.
