Funded hours
The Early Years Entitlement provides up to 15 hours government funded provision for children who are aged 3 and 4 years old each week during term time. All children are eligible from the term following their 3rd birthday. Some working families will be entitled to claim 30 free hours childcare and we offer this where places are available. In some cases, where a family is on a low income or in recei.
Worth knowing. Parents/carers of children eligible for the EYE funded provision can access up to a maximum of 10 consecutive hours per day. As our maximum opening times are between 08:45-3.20pm hrs the maximum that can be accessed at any one time with us is 6 hours and 35 minutes for 38 weeks of the year. For children in receipt of the funding, a full day from 8.45am-3.20pm will be free.
