We offer 30 hours of free childcare to families that are eligible. We also offer 15 hour Free Early Learning (FEL) places for children aged 2/3/4 years of age.
Worth knowing. Some 2 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of Free Early Learning (FEL) during term time, please contact the centre to enquire about this.

What it is like to attend
Children arrive happy and are greeted by cheerful staff. Parents feel welcome. Staff encourage them to spend time in reception and children settle well. Children delight in exploring the multicultural and multilingual resources and information that represent them and their community. Staff explain what is available to babies and toddlers as they arrive, so that they can make choices. Staff are deployed effectively around the room. They sit on the floor and cuddle babies as they settle.
Staff respond to children with care and ease.
Staff read to older children with joy, enthusiasm and clarity. The environment is peaceful and quiet. Staff give children clear expectations, such as teaching them about 'good sitting', 'good listening' and 'good looking'. As a result, children are engaged and interested. Staff skilfully differentiate and ask open-ended questions so that all children can join in. Children speculate about what might happen next.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- help children to understand and know that their views are valued during group activities, such as by recognising when to slow down and respond in a meaningful way n support staff to develop mealtime routines so that all children can fully participate and have opportunities to develop their social skills.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
