What it is like to attend
Children at this setting are happy and confident. They receive cuddles and responsive care from staff who know them well and meet their individual needs.
Staff interact with children as they play, sing songs regularly and promote a love for reading. They have a clear understanding of what they want children to learn in each room before moving on to the next stage of their education. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress. Staff work in partnership with other professionals to ensure that education, health and care plans are in place for those children who need them before they start school.
This helps to ensure that children receive the timely support they need.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support less-confident staff to enhance their interactions during play activities to provide toddlers with more opportunities to learn new vocabulary and develop their problem-solving skills n support staff to consider children's individual learning needs more precisely during group activities to help children to remain fully engaged in their learning.
