What it is like to attend
Children are happy and confident at the nursery. Babies develop bonds with their key person and enjoy time with them as they read a story together. Older children build friendships as they work together to solve problems. The staff team provide sensitive support to all children and recognise how they are feeling. This helps children to learn the skills to regulate and manage their emotions. This supports their personal, social and emotional development.
The management team consider the individual needs of children and families in everything they do. They provide opportunities for children to access the local park and woods. This helps children to understand more about the world around them.
Staff choose activities that spark children's interest. They think creatively about how they can engage children in all areas of their learning and development. For example, children delve into the 'dinosaur swamp' to see what they can find. They excitedly find and name the 'Spinosaurus' as they develop their vocabulary. This careful planning helps children make good progress in their learning.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
