What it is like to attend
Leaders and staff provide a welcoming atmosphere and promote children's learning well. Staff warmly welcome children as they arrive. They create a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel settled. Children arrive with smiles, eager to explore the engaging activities that staff thoughtfully plan to reflect children's interests. Staff provide individualised support for all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). This helps ensure that all children make good progress from their starting points in learning.
Staff clearly communicate their high expectations to children and explain why certain behaviours are unwanted. As a result, children demonstrate good behaviour, use polite manners and take turns. Children are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
They demonstrate confidence and are very independent. For instance, older children carry their lunch on plates to the table, and they wash their hands independently. Children enjoy playing outdoors. Staff make good use of the garden space and the new 'secret garden' area.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to consistently encourage children to think further and explore their ideas during play n support staff to recognise when they are able to extend children's learning further during group activities.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
