What it is like to attend
Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour. They set clear and consistent boundaries to help children to know what is expected of them. Staff are positive role models. They provide lots of praise and encouragement to children. Staff support children's needs extremely well and show high levels of respect to children.
For instance, staff ask for babies' permission before changing their nappies.
Furthermore, they provide children with warm reassurance and comfort when they need it. Bonds between children and their key person are kind and warm. As a result of these meaningful interactions, children show they feel safe and secure in their surroundings. Consequently, there is mutual respect for each other across this nursery, and children's behaviour is good.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to strengthen the implementation of the curriculum to consistently support children's engagement in learning n strengthen opportunities for children to explore and learn about diversity beyond their local communities and in the wider world.
