What it is like to attend
Children settle quickly, are happy and flourish in this calm and nurturing environment. The manager and staff know the children exceptionally well. Children show that they feel safe, secure and settled. Children are confident and independent learners who become immersed in their play. This supports them to extend their knowledge and skills.
Staff are highly effective in identifying individual children's learning and development needs. There is a sharp focus on supporting children's speech and language development and social confidence. Staff identified that children were less confident in these areas after the COVID-19 pandemic. They put plans in place to work even more closely with families to support learning at home. Parents highly value the help, guidance and support they receive.
Children develop friendships with their peers and form strong attachments to the staff. Children develop an understanding of right and wrong from an early age.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- provide more consistent opportunities to support children's independence and self-help skills n strengthen the organisation and sequencing of activities so that children are given time to prepare, focus and be ready to learn.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
