Worth knowing. The 15 hours can be used for two childcare settings, but are shared between both. If you get 2-year-old funding, you will not have to pay the £50 administration charge. No deposit required if in receipt of Local Authority issued 2-year-old funding or Early Years Pupil Premium.

What it is like to attend
Children are warmly welcomed into the setting. From the moment they arrive, staff encourage their independence. For example, pre-school children place their fruit for snack time on the tray outside the door, find their photo and name to put above their peg, and hang their coats and bags. Staff support toddlers to hang their coats, with lots of praise and encouragement. This builds children's confidence.
Children know the routines well. They are calm and settle quickly into activities that interest them. For example, some children enthusiastically join a staff member to make play dough while they talk about the ingredients they need.
The setting provides a wide range of activities to suit children's needs and interests. For example, children enjoy physical play as they balance on ramps inside, and ride on trikes outside. They confidently use a slide in the garden. They enjoy pouring coloured water and painting the fence with water. Children show high levels of concentration and engagement while playing.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:

- Is £8.30 an hour still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
