Funded hours
Funding is available for working families and Early learning eligible families for children age 9month, 2,3 and 4 year olds (subject to criteria).
Worth knowing. Meals/snacks/consumables are not included on government funded sessions. The cost per session is £5 on a half a day for meals, snacks and consumables and £10 on a full day. This includes everything apart from nappies, wipes and formula milk which must be provided by the parent and brought to nursery each day.

What it is like to attend
Children are very happy and confident and show a love of learning in this friendly and welcoming nursery. They are independent learners, focused on the many engaging learning opportunities that staff provide. Children show very high levels of engagement in their play. They access activities that are well sequenced over time in the nursery. For example, to support children's physical development, staff encourage young children to spend time figuring out how to crawl through a tunnel. Staff support pre-school children to wait to take their turn on an obstacle course they have designed.
Staff are excellent role models and treat children with high levels of respect and kindness. They form positive relationships and set high expectations for children's behaviour. Children consistently show what they know and can do with pride. They have a strong sense of belonging in the nursery and understand what is expected of them. For example, pre-school children remind each other of the number of children permitted to play in an area of the provision. They access a mezzanine upstairs by checking in and out using a card system, knowing this is for their safety. Parents and carers comment on how their children thrive in the nursery.
They recognise the support their children receive and the progress they make, especially regarding their communication and language.

- Is £75.90 a day still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
