Funded hours
We accept funding for all eligble children aged 9 months and up. There are 3 types of funding availble to children and parents: Working Family, Early Learning for 2 year olds and Universal.
Worth knowing. Funding can not be used to cover the cost of consumables or additional fees. 30 hours funding can be 'Stretched' over 50 weeks at 22.8 hours of funding per week. 15 & 30 hours funding can be used term time only or ‘stretched’ over 50 weeks at 11.4 or 22.8 hours per week.

What it is like to attend
Staff provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where children are happy and motivated to learn. Children are eager to join in the wide range of activities that staff provide that are, overall, linked to their interests and learning needs. Staff adapt activities so that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities
Staff are good role models for the children. They help children to learn how to treat each other with respect and kindness. Children show concern for each other. For example, they apologise when they accidentally bump into their friends and ask,
'Are you ok?' Children use good manners. Staff treat children as the unique individuals that they are. They provide children with lots of praise and encouragement. This helps to build children's confidence and self-esteem.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to enhance the teaching of mathematics to consistently help children to build more on what they already know n support staff to review and make better use of transition times so that children do not have to wait unnecessarily between activities.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
