What it is like to attend
Staff are kind, patient and reassuring. They offer children love and comfort as needed. This helps children to form strong and lasting bonds with them. Staff plan a wide range of learning experiences for children across all areas of learning.
Children confidently and independently access these and most maintain a good level of engagement as they play. Babies and younger children love joining in with sensory experiences, such as exploring with water, sand and play dough. They use the equipment and their hands to fill, empty, mould and manipulate. All children make good progress in their development.
Children thoroughly enjoy the time they spend outdoors in the fresh air. Staff plan a wide range of activities for children to experience that enhances their learning.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to extend children's learning even further as they play with an aim to raise outcomes for children n strengthen the transition arrangements in place with an aim to support staff to better meet the needs of children, particularly as they transition into a new room n consistently implement behaviour management strategies with an aim to ensure all children start to learn right from wrong and how their actions can impact on others.
