Funded hours
All 3 and 4-year-old children are entitled to 570 hours of universal funded early education and childcare per academic year (commonly referred to as 15 hours funding). Some children may also be eligible for an additional 570 hours if their parents are in work, giving access to the extended entitlement (30 hours funding). From September 2024, eligible working parents of children aged 9 months to 2.
Worth knowing. Please note that funded hours cover the cost of childcare only. Meals and snacks are charged separately and will be added to your monthly invoice. From April 2025, parents are able to access their child’s funded hours without paying for snacks and consumables.
