Funded hours
The universal EYEE will pay for a maximum of 570 free hours per year, from the term after your child’s third birthday, your child is automatically entitled to this offer, and you will need to apply through Little Rockets to access this. The extended 30 hours EYEE will pay for an additional 570 hours per year for eligible 3 and 4-year old’s, from the term after their third birthday, you will need t.
Worth knowing. The consumables charge is a voluntary contribution to cover items such as snack- morning and afternoon, sun cream, baby wipes etc and is not covered by EYEE funding. All consumables’ costs should be paid in advance (either on the day, weekly, monthly or termly) and is due for every planned attendance.

What it is like to attend
The staff team, including the managers, creates a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Children play happily as they explore the resources and activities on offer. Staff plan and deliver an ambitious curriculum that is precisely targeted to reflect children's individual learning needs.
Staff place a very strong focus on promoting children's emotional well-being. The sensitive support that individual children receive helps them to gain confidence and to develop their social skills. Children learn to interact positively with others and to make friendships. Throughout the nursery, they engage in animated conversation and spend much of their time laughing as they share their views and make jokes with staff. For example, children spontaneously call out their favourite colours as they bounce coloured balls on a parachute and point out that the red ball looks like a clown's nose.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- extend further the support for older children to explore, understand and expand their physical capabilities n review and improve the key-person system to enable children, particularly the youngest, to benefit from having their care needs addressed by their trusted, special carer.

What to ask them

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
