What it is like to attend
Leaders have made good improvements to the nursery since the last inspection.
Children arrive happily and separate from their parents with ease. They feel safe and secure as they explore the nursery environment. Caring staff form strong relationships with children and are attentive to their needs.
Skilled staff use every opportunity to extend children's learning. For example, during outdoor sand play, staff share a book about diggers as children play with the vehicles. They impart information about how the diggers work. In addition, when children discover a ladybird, staff talk about the ladybird's wings and how they can fly. This helps to develop children's knowledge and understanding of the world.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- continue to develop and embed the new planning system across the nursery n improve communications with parents to ensure they know their child's next steps and how to support them at home.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- Can I use my funded hours here? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
