What it is like to attend
Leaders have designed a curriculum that supports children to grow and develop across the seven areas of learning. Children show great happiness and joy as they take part in the exciting and engaging activities on offer. There is a focus on preparing children for the next stage in their education. High-quality teaching offers children the progression they need to build on what they already know and can do.
As a result, children make excellent progress in their learning and development.
Attachments between children and adults are wonderfully secure. Children demonstrate that they feel safe and secure in the nursery. There is a robust keyperson system in place, which works in conjunction with the settling-in process for new children. Children receive the warm and nurturing care that helps them build emotional security. This enables them to quickly engage in their play and learning.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- review the organisation of large-group activities to ensure that all children are able to remain engaged and focused in the learning opportunities provided.
