Funded hours
We provide funded places for eligible children aged 9 months to 5 years.
Worth knowing. If you are entitled to universal funding of 15 hours of funding per week we offer this as: 1 full day and a half day 38 weeks a year, or 1 full day 51 weeks a year. If you are entitled to the 30 hours (universal 15 hours and additional 15 hours) per week we offer this as: 3 full days if attending 38 weeks per year, or 2 full days if attending 51 weeks per year. Additional days or half days can be booked and charged as per the fees above, subject to availability.

What it is like to attend
Children become confident and independent learners at this nursery. They develop strong relationships with staff, who get to know their routines and interests well.
Staff show comfort and reassurance to children when they need it. As a result, children enjoy spending time at the nursery.
The curriculum progressively builds on what children learn throughout the nursery.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to consistently implement suitable personal care practices, which are sensitive and responsive to children's needs n support children's communication development even further so that they develop language and vocabulary well n support staff to plan and implement clear learning intentions so that children make the best possible progress.

What to ask them
Some of this is above, from the setting or from parents, and it can go out of date. The rest is in no dataset anywhere. Either way it is worth ten minutes on the phone.
- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
