All children are eligible for government funding starting in the term after their 3rd Birthday. Government funding covers the full cost of 15 hours per week during term time per child. We accept children who qualify for 30hrs funding. There may also be 2 year old funding available for families who meet the criteria set by the government.

What it is like to attend
Children are warmly greeted by the kind and friendly staff. All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who are new to the pre-school, settle quickly. Children confidently find their name card and place it on the board to show that they have arrived. Staff know all children well.
They plan activities that reflect children's interests and that they know they will enjoy. Children make decisions about what they would like to play with. For example, they chose to use plastic tubes on a frame to create a runway for coloured balls of different sizes. Staff encourage children to think how they can position the tubes so the balls can run from the top to the bottom. Children show a sense of achievement as they celebrate with staff when they are successful.
Children build strong relationships with staff and enjoy playing with their friends.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- continue to support staff in the planning of activities to help extend children's learning further n help children to gain a greater understanding of behaviour and the impact that this may have on others.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
