Funded hours
15 hours of funding for eligible working families and families that receive additional forms of support from the age of 2 years; 30 hour childcare for eligible working families for children aged 9 months to four years old (From September 2025); EYEE funding the term after they turn 3 years old.
Worth knowing. Funding can be taken between the hours of 8.00am – 3.00pm Monday – Friday. Anything over and above this entitlement will be charged at our normal rate. Once the funding allowance per week has been used, fees will be chargeable to the nearest 15 minutes at £9 per hour.

What it is like to attend
Children feel safe and valued in this warm and nurturing nursery. Staff build strong, trusting relationships with children and respond sensitively to their needs and interests. For example, staff have taken part in training to more effectively support children to use the language of feelings, learning to recognise and manage their emotions. They create cosy, calm spaces, where older children delight in making dens, play imaginatively with friends and enthusiastically share their ideas with staff. These meaningful interactions support children to express themselves, strengthen social skills and build confidence.
Staff are excellent role models. They support children to be respectful and considerate, and this is mirrored in children's great teamwork. For instance, older children work together to build ramps for their cars, talking kindly, waiting and taking turns. Children remain highly engaged and focused while playing. These skills help to prepare children for school.
Staff plan and adapt learning experiences to challenge and engage all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children boost their self-esteem as they take part in physical play. For example, staff support children to grate vegetables safely and strengthen their fine motor skills.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
