What it is like to attend
The curriculum at this nursery is designed to make children agents of their own learning. Staff are highly skilled at providing well-timed interactions with children to enhance their knowledge and skills. They enable children to become fully immersed in their play and develop a deep level of concentration, which means that they get the most out of the learning opportunities available to them. The environment is designed to help children to be independent, confident and resilient.
There is a calm and stimulating atmosphere present in the nursery. Staff form strong attachments with children and are intently attuned to their needs. They understand the uniqueness of children and adapt their teaching appropriately.
Children behave extremely well. The skilful staff create an environment which satisfies children's drive to learn, resulting in them being patient and respectful of their friends. For example, all children know that they can access the resources available, but they must return them once they have finished with them so that they are available for their friends to use after.
