Funded hours
Funded Hours (570 hours) and from September 2017 the Additional Funded Hours (1140 hours) of free early education or childhood hours per year for all eligible 3 and 4 year olds as a ‘Stretched entitlement’ for children attending a full day, morning or afternoon over 50 weeks. From September 2025, some children aged between 9 months and 4-year-old of working parents will be eligible for the extende.
