What it is like to attend
Children thrive in this exceptional nursery where staff put children at the heart of everything they do. Children show that they feel safe and secure as they rush off to greet their friends and explore the environment. Staff support children to develop strong bonds with their peers and the adults in the nursery. They are friendly, warm and welcoming as children arrive and happily leave their parents. Staff are sensitive to children's individual emotional needs, and this helps children to settle quickly.
The atmosphere in the nursery is lively and purposeful. Staff plan and implement an ambitious and exciting curriculum that covers all areas of learning successfully.
Children enjoy a range of stimulating activities based on their interests and next steps in learning. For example, children participate in weekly beach school sessions. They learn about textures of real-life objects, such as shells and pebbles.

What to ask them

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
