Funded hours
We accept up to 30 hours funding. We offer EYFE (Early Years Free Entitlement) for children in the term after their 3rd birthday and Early Learninf for 2 year old funding for some children meeting criteria aged 2 years. We offer the universal 15 hours from the term after the child's 3rd birthday and Working Parent Entitlement of 30 hours for children aged 2 years plus.

What it is like to attend
Children arrive keen and ready to learn at this welcoming nursery. They are greeted by enthusiastic staff, who talk to them about what is available for them to play and explore. Children readily explore the variety of interesting activities on offer. They make friends with ease and happily welcome them into their play. For example, they plan a show together with puppets. Children's social skills are developing well. They eagerly share their positive views of the nursery with the inspector, such as when they talk about the fun they have building marble runs.
Children love being active in the fresh air. They have many opportunities for physical exercise and to learn about nature. For instance, children develop their stamina and strength as they negotiate balancing challenges, such as on parallel ropes in the forest area. Children hold the top rope and shuffle sideways with their feet on the bottom rope. This helps to support children's resilience skills.
Children learn to be independent from the start. For example, staff teach younger children how to place their belongings away when they arrive. Older children wash their hands thoroughly after using the toilet without being prompted. Staff prepare children well, academically and emotionally, for their move to school.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to be consistent in their behaviour management strategies to build on children's understanding of behaviour expectations n monitor staff practice more precisely and provide feedback on how to consistently achieve the highest level of teaching.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
