What it is like to attend
Children at this setting benefit from good care and education. Leaders and managers are passionate about giving all children the best possible outcomes.
Leaders have built a curriculum that is ambitious for all children. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) benefit from a curriculum built around their needs. Staff are positive role models for children. They speak to children with a calm tone while maintaining eye contact. This helps children to feel secure and valued. Children and staff have developed strong bonds, including young babies who have only been at the setting for a very short amount of time.
Staff work carefully with parents during the settling-in period. They spend unlimited time getting to know the children and their families. Transitions are effective.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- support staff to provide purposeful age-appropriate learning opportunities for all children to help them develop a positive attitude to learning n strengthen staff interactions with babies to further support their language development.
