What it is like to attend
Children receive a warm welcome from the friendly, caring staff. The children arrive with enthusiasm, link up with their friends and set off to explore the planned activities and accessible resources.
Children make good progress in their learning from their individual starting points.
This includes those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Most children attain confident communication skills and staff provide extra support for children who find verbal communication more difficult.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- make greater use of opportunities to maximise the learning of the youngest children as they engage in self-chosen play n create more opportunities for children to gain an understanding of, and respect for, people, families and communities beyond their own.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
