Funded hours
Early Education Funding up to 30 funded hours for the working family entitlement for 9 months to 4 years olds, the 15 hours for disadvantaged 2 year olds and the 15 funded hours free entitlement which is a universal offer for 3 & 4 year olds starting from the term after the 3rd birthday. We also deliver local offers specific to the relevant local authority, such as CEO funding for 3 & 4 year olds.
Worth knowing. Eligible children may be entitled to 15 hours (570 hours per annum) or 30 hours (1,140 hours per annum) of free early years’ education that can be used as a stretched offer across 51 weeks of the year or 38 weeks for children over 3 years subject to availability delivered as 3 funded half-days sessions 8am-1pm/1-6pm or 3 funded full-day session 8am-6pm. Where the hours for stretched sessions exceed the funded entitlement hours all funded hours are used before private fees are payable at the appl.
