What it is like to attend
Children respond happily to the friendly staff and go easily to them for cuddles.
Staff liaise closely with parents to understand their children's individual care routines and needs. They help children settle in at their pace to feel comfortable and secure in the setting. Children learn about being kind and helpful to others.
They start to take turns in games, such as when they throw and catch balls together outdoors. Pre-school children are willing to help tidy up their toys.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- make more use of additional resources relating to children's interests within planned activities to support their understanding and enhance their learning consistently well n enhance the curriculum to develop children's knowledge and skills further through a wide a range of enriching experiences and opportunities that build on their cultural capital.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
