FREE funded childcare for children from 3 months up to five years. We offer both 15 and 30 hour places for working families and the Early Learning for 2 Year Olds funding.
Worth knowing. We do offer a payable 45 minute wrap around for those families accessing 30 hours.

What it is like to attend
Children arrive eager and enthusiastic, ready to begin their day at this welcoming and nurturing nursery. They separate easily from their parents and carers and become quickly engaged in their learning environment. Children feel safe, secure and happy in this inclusive setting. They seek comfort and reassurance from their key staff, who respond with genuine warmth and attentive care.
The nursery provides children with a curriculum that is based on their interests and next steps in learning. Staff arrange the learning environment to spark children's interests. From the moment children arrive, they show positive attitudes and engagement as they explore their surroundings. For example, children enthusiastically engage in imaginary play together and take turns to be the driver.
Other children pretend to make ice creams and sodas as staff positively join them in their play. All children make good progress.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- develop partnerships with parents to ensure that all parents are aware of who their child's key person is and how to build on their child's learning at home n support staff to enhance their interactions during outdoor play with all children to fully support and extend their learning.

What to ask them

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
