What it is like to attend
Children arrive happy and settle quickly in this warm and welcoming setting. They build strong, trusting relationships with staff, who offer warm interactions and consistent reassurance. This helps children feel safe, secure and ready to explore.
Staff create engaging learning experiences that spark children's curiosity. Children eagerly join in and sustain concentration for extended periods.
Staff maintain high expectations for children's learning and behaviour. Children learn to share, take turns and consider the feelings of others. When minor disagreements occur, staff respond promptly, guiding children through appropriate negotiation and discussion. They use strategies such as a sand timer to support turn taking, helping children understand boundaries and routines.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- focus staff's development on embedding the curriculum intent consistently to know when to challenge older children more to enable them to make even greater progress.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
