IAM2 funding, 15 hours per week, if eligible, the term after your child's 2nd birthday. We claim 3 year old funding 15 hours per week the term after your child's 3rd birthday. We also offer 30 hours funding if eligible.
Worth knowing. Lunch (12:45pm-1:15pm) | £7.00 (Not applicable with 30 hours funding) |; Funding is received for a maximum of 38 weeks, so when the academic year exceeds the parents will be charged for the extra sessions.

What it is like to attend
Staff teach children to express themselves at the pre-school. They help children to become confident talkers. Staff talk to children considerately, carefully selecting new words they want them to hear. They consider the individual needs of children with special educational needs and or disabilities (SEND). All children feel confident to talk to other people. They develop fluency in a variety of different scenarios.
Leaders plan a curriculum that aims to build children's resilience. They do this by teaching children that making mistakes is good as it means they are learning. For example, staff correct children when they miss out numbers in counting activities.
They reward them for trying again. Staff have high expectations of all children. All children experience setbacks and feel confident to take risks in their learning.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:

What to ask them
Some of this is above, from the setting or from parents, and it can go out of date. The rest is in no dataset anywhere. Either way it is worth ten minutes on the phone.
- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
