What it is like to attend
This exciting and engaging nursery gives children the best opportunities from the moment they start. Staff are dedicated and knowledgeable. They enhance children's love of learning by creating an expertly tailored curriculum. Staff consider children's individual interests and ignite their curiosity through enthralling and purposeful activities. Children become immersed in their learning. They show that they are extremely settled and content as they confidently explore their environment.
Children behave exceptionally well. Staff teach children to consider the effect of their actions and words on each other. The nursery is a hub of care and respect, and children look out for their friends with kindness. For example, when children are cutting their own fruit snacks at mealtimes, they remind each other to be careful and not hurt themselves.
Children engage in the extremely well-planned activities, which consistently extend and deepen their skills and understanding. For example, babies explore the effects of sliding toy sea creatures into soapy water. They observe the waves and ripples with awe and wonder. Staff also provide exceptional opportunities for older children to develop an impressive level of understanding and a great enthusiasm for learning. For example, they have created an indoor rock pool, teaching children carefully targeted vocabulary as they investigate the treasures they find.
