From 9 months to 2 years: 15 hours per week for eligible working parents, increasing to 30 hours from 1 September 2025; 2 Year olds: 15 hours per week for eligible working parents, 15 hours per week for families receiving additional support, increasing to 30 hours from 1 September 2025; 3 & 4 Year olds: Universal entitlement: 15 hours per week for all children, Additional 15 hours per week for eli.
Worth knowing. NEF is funded for 38 weeks per year only. You will need to pay full nursery fees for any additional weeks your child attends. In addition to standard nursery fees, we apply a Nursery Care Package fee for funded sessions.

What it is like to attend
Children are happy and confident. Their emotional well-being is supported well. A
secure key-person system helps children quickly feel settled. Children cheerfully call staff by name as they enter the room. Staff are warm and responsive. Children build close bonds with them. Babies seek out cuddles when tired. They fall asleep contentedly while snuggling up to their key person.
Staff praise children when they behave well. Children show good manners, such as at lunchtime and as they line up patiently to come indoors. Children confidently move their name to the green light on the self-registration system when they achieve something. Staff focus on highlighting positive behaviour. This helps children understand what is expected of them.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- ensure staff consistently support the development of children's thinking and language skills by pausing and giving them time they need to respond when interacting with them n explore strategies for supporting children who speak EAL to use their home language in the setting.

- Is £27.50 a day still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
