What it is like to attend
Staff at this nursery are diverse and promote an inclusive environment. They work very closely with parents and other professionals to help get to know children well.
This is highly effective, especially when children have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). In addition, this enables staff to manage children's behaviour successfully, which promotes a consistent approach to their care needs.
This makes children feel safe and secure. Children play well together. Staff comfort and praise children for their positive attitudes. This approach helps to build children's self-esteem and confidence.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- clarify the learning intentions for activities that are provided to maximise the support for children's learning n improve the use of questioning to allow children the time they need to process information and think about their answers to further encourage their communication skills.
