What it is like to attend
Children are supported by skilled staff to make secure progress in their learning and development. They show that they can remember more and do more. Young babies turn the pages of a book. They use their developing dexterity to open flaps, and when they see a familiar image they point and say, 'Duck'. Older children demonstrate their increasing knowledge and understanding of the natural world.
They answer staff's questions to identify correctly that an octopus has eight legs.
Older children recall information that they have recently learned confidently. For instance, they remember that a clown fish lives in the coral reef.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
