Under 2s – from working families funding; 2 year olds – from working families funding; Eligible Early Learning 2 year olds; 3 & 4 year olds – universal hours and 3 & 4 year olds – working parent entitlement hours.
Worth knowing. We offer a maximum of 22.8 hours of funding each week from Monday to Friday. Additional hours outside of the funded hours will be charged at full fees. 22.8 hours of funding are stretched over 50 weeks of the year.

What it is like to attend
Staff are caring and nurturing, supporting children to make good progress in their learning and development. There is an effective key-person system in place.
Children have time to settle and build strong relationships with staff who know their key children well and use this knowledge to support their progress through the curriculum. Children receive appropriate praise and encouragement to support them to persevere and to promote their well-being.
Staff have high expectations for children's learning and behaviour. Staff role model respect and manners through their interactions with children and each other. For example, when staff ask questions during play, they listen and respond and thank children for their contribution. This helps children to feel valued.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:

What to ask them

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
