We accept government funding places at each of our settings for our core opening hours and sessions (8am-6pm/8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm).
Worth knowing. Our Government funded places are free at the point of entry and we offer a ‘Thrive and Nourish’ package for parents who wish use this service of which our costs are itemised below. For parents who do not wish to opt in to this package you will be required to provide all food in line with our pack lunch policy and additional consumables such as wipes and creams.

What it is like to attend
The setting prioritises forming close, professional partnerships with parents. Staff begin this process before children start at the nursery. They work with parents to find out about each child. This includes their interests, home experiences and current development. Staff use this information to help children settle in. As a result, children enjoy attending the nursery. The attachments they form to their key person gives them the confidence to explore and learn.
Staff are skilled at providing learning opportunities that build on children's interests.
As a result, children are highly engaged in their play. For example, when parents say that they visited a farm, staff provide farm-themed resources. Staff teach babies to put on their own shoes by providing wellington boots alongside trays of hay. They introduce animal names, using sign and clear, single words. This helps children to make good progress in their communication and language.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:

What to ask them

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
