Funded hours
All working parents of children aged 9 months up to 3yrs old can access upto 30hours funded childcare per week. Up to 15hrs per week is available for eligible 2-year-olds. For ALL 3year olds, up to 15hrs per week is available/ some 3year olds may be eligible for 30hrs per week.

What it is like to attend
Staff create a friendly and warm atmosphere. They greet children with an enthusiastic welcome each morning. Staff build positive relationships with the children that help them feel safe and secure. For example, babies smile and approach visitors when they come into the room, knowing that staff are nearby.
Consequently, children settle quickly and are soon engaged in their play.
Staff act as good role models for children and have clear expectations for children's behaviour. They skilfully manage challenging behaviour and are calm and kind in their demeanour. Children receive lots of praise for their efforts and achievements.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- develop further the curriculum for communication and language to ensure that children receive the best opportunities to extend and enhance their language and speaking skills n strengthen current systems for staff supervision and coaching to help all staff raise the quality of their educational practice to the highest levels across the team.

- Is £83.14 a day still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
